Biography for Esta B Daley
Esta is available for weddings, receptions and private parties.
We both had the pleasure of attending our friends wedding in a beautiful old church in the countryside, sometimes Churches can be a little cold before the bride & groom arrive but as I walked in I heard one of our favourite songs being sang ( Your Love is King )by the wonder Esta & The Esta B Daley Singers.
It was fantastic to hear their voices warming the church and relaxing all the guests and when they sang Signed Sealed Delivered as the Bride & Groom signed the wedding certificate, it was the perfect end to a wonderful service and these ladies really made it even more special!

In May 2010 Snake Davis, one of the UK's leading Saxophonists, named Esta as winner of the worldwide JazzFM Puresolo singing competition judged by a panel which included Snake Davis, Gary King (Jazz FM DJ) and Sebastian Scotney (London Jazz/Telegraph). Esta performed with The Snake Davis Band on 21st May at PizzaExpress Jazz Club Soho to a sold out audience. “Esta B Daley is a fine singer. Great tone, great feel, great delivery…. We loved her, the audience loved her too.” Snake Davis
Esta B Daley is a solo performer, songwriter and band leader in her own right with a love for singing anything from pop, soul to jazz music. Based in Watford she enjoys the privilege of working with Jim Mullen on Guitar, Karen Sharp on Sax, Jim Richardson on Bass and Mike Searle on Drums.. They perform Swing Jazz, Blues, Latin Jazz, Bossa Nova, Samba and power ballads with a few jazzy Classic Soul songs. The music can be upbeat to get the audience dancing or easy listening to compliment dining.
Esta has an extensive repertoire and many years experience performing in and around London. Esta entered the Jazz arena in May 2008. Esta was honoured to be chosen by Marc Mac of 4Hero as the voice to feature in a project by the President of Black Jazz Records, James Hardge, to re-issue their back catalogue. Esta had the privilege to re-record 'Revelation' and 'Peace' originally sung by award winning R&B recording artist Jean Carn, one of Esta's greatest influences.
Esta started her career serving her apprenticeship with award winning jazz exponent, Cleveland Watkiss. She became a professional session singer touring with many bands and working in recording studios. Esta performed on the Gospel circuit for many years as a solo artist.
In 2006 she formed a band to perform a new collection of her own original material. 2008 saw the launch of ‘Edge of the Middle' – Esta's first EP which she also co-produced. These songs are a celebration her youth and her rich Antiguan heritage. Her second EP ‘Reach for the Moon' features Esta's love of Classic Jazz songs.
